COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

If you or your employees are expected to operate a piece of equipment that is designed to carry a person and has 20 hp or more, then you are required to adhere to OH&S PME legislation.

 

A wide range of equipment falls under the definition of Powered Mobile Equipment. Some examples of PME are:

  • Forklifts;

  • Agricultural tractors

  • Mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs)

  • Skid steers, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, graders

  • Riding mowers and garden tractors

  • Stand up and riding snow blowers

Your instructor has extensive experience on all types of powered mobile equipment and is qualified to provide the equipment specific training required as well as any related training such as Load Securement, Spotting, Traffic Control, Fall Protection.


This course meets CSA standards and exceeds OH&S requirements.

  • Maintenance

DETAILS:

For new operators, the duration of the course is 16 hours.

If you or your employees have previous training or experience on equipment, recertification and evaluation options are available that do not require the legislated 16 hrs of training.
